All Poweshiek County voters can vote at the Drake Library (930 Park Street) in Grinnell on Monday, October 21 from 9 am to 3 pm. If you have questions about voting or registering to vote, contact the Poweshiek County Auditor at 641-623-5443. Early voting helps candidates you support know they have your vote!
Melissa Vine, the former owner of Sunshine Bakery in Grinnell, is running for the Des Moines-based seat for US House (a district that does not include Poweshiek County). She will be hosting an event for supporters on Friday, March 1 at 8 pm at the El Cascabel Restaurant (1014 3rd Ave.) in Grinnell.
Presidential candidate Andrew Yang will hold a town hall at the Prairie Canary Restaurant (924 Main Street) in Grinnell on Monday, January 20 at 6:30 p.m. It's a great opportunity to hear about Yang's policy proposals on universal basic income, climate change, and education funding. RSVP
